José Niño was born in Venezuela to Colombian parents. He completed his undergraduate studies in government and history at the University of Texas at Austin and his master's degree in international strategy and commercial policy at the University of Chile. He interned with US Congressman Kenny Marchant (R-TX) and the Libertarian Party National Committee, before becoming an Executive Board member of Students for Liberty and working as a translator and blogger with the PanAm Post and the Foundation for Progress. Now based in Colorado, he has published with the Foundation for Economic Education, Mises Institute, and Libertarian Republic. Follow @JoseAlNino.
